HILL'S Prescription Diet k/d Kidney Care with Chicken is a complete dietetic feed to support renal function in cases of chronic or temporary renal insufficiency in adult cats. This food has a low phosphorus content and a reduced content of high-quality protein.

When cats suffer from kidney tissue damage, their kidneys cannot function properly. This condition is not reversible, but its progression can be slowed down. Dietetic foods for kidney diseases are designed to help reduce the workload on the kidneys, allowing them to function more efficiently. Cats with reduced kidney function may experience a loss of appetite and their food intake may decrease.
