ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Satiety Weight Management Dog is a complete dietary food for adult dogs.

RECOMMENDED FOR WEIGHT LOSS AND WEIGHT MAINTENANCE AFTER WEIGHT LOSS IN CASES OF:

• Overweight/Obesity
• Diabetes mellitus with overweight/obesity
• Hyperlipidemia with overweight/obesity

NOT RECOMMENDED IN CASES OF:

• Dogs with a history of constipation in response to a high-fiber diet
• Growth, gestation/lactation

The IDEAL WEIGHT should be determined based on the individual's weight and BCS. The recommended daily intake is based on the ideal weight of the animal. The initial ration may need to be adjusted during follow-up visits. A weight loss goal of 1-3% of body weight per week is generally achievable within the first 3 months, and 0.5-2% thereafter.

Maintenance ration:

Energy requirements to maintain a stable body weight after weight loss are lower than for dogs that were obese. It is recommended to continue feeding the weight loss diet once the ideal or target weight has been reached. To maintain an ideal weight, gradually increase the daily food ration until their weight stabilizes.

Maintenance rations may need to be adjusted depending on the individual. If the dog regains more than 5% of its body weight, the ration should be reduced to weight loss rations.

Vegetable fibers, dehydrated poultry protein, wheat gluten*, cassava (tapioca), corn gluten, hydrolyzed animal proteins, wheat, corn, animal fats, beet pulp, fish oil, minerals, psyllium husks and seeds, soy oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, glucosamine from fermentation, marigold meal, cartilage hydrolysate (source of chondroitin).
