Care instructions

Clean the fountain:
Wash the fountain once a week with a soft sponge and a mild, chemical-free, non-abrasive detergent, then rinse it. Make sure to rinse thoroughly so that no soap residue remains.

Filter cleaning:
Remove the filter from the lower part and rinse it. Do not wash the filter with soap. If the filter contains impurities or other foreign substances, replace it. (Replacement filters are sold separately.) Replace the filter every three to four weeks or as soon as signs of saturation with foreign substances (impurities, food debris, hair, etc.) are visible. More frequent replacement may be necessary depending on the home environment or water quality, as well as if used by multiple animals. Please refer to the instruction manual for this.

Pump cleaning:
If you think the pump is dirty, open the pump and remove the impeller cover and impeller. Remove any impurities from the impeller and clean the impeller well under running water. Be careful when handling the impeller. If the pump makes noise, clean the pump as described above and fill the drinking water reservoir with plenty of water so that the pump is completely submerged. The pump must not run dry!
