HILL'S Prescription Diet Derm Defense Chicken is a complete dietary food specially formulated to support skin function in cases of dermatological problems and excessive hair loss. This food contains high levels of linoleic acid (LA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) for a combined action on skin health.

This nutritional regimen has been developed to meet the specific needs of dogs suffering from dermatoses, skin problems, or abnormal hair loss. Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid that contributes to skin health by strengthening the skin barrier. In addition, EPA and DHA, two omega-3 fatty acids, offer anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce skin inflammation, relieve itching, and improve overall skin condition.
