ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Urinary S/O Dog 100g is a complete dietetic feed for dogs, formulated to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence thanks to its urine acidifying properties, low magnesium content, and restricted but high-quality protein content.

RECOMMENDATIONS: It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use. Feed Urinary S/O for 5 to 12 weeks for struvite stone dissolution and up to 6 months to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones. Water should be available at all times.

Benefits

  • Struvite stone dissolution: Urinary S/O effectively dissolves struvite stones. An acidic urinary pH is not conducive to the development of bacteria, which are frequently associated with struvite stones.
  • Urine dilution: Diluting urine helps to simultaneously reduce urinary concentrations of struvite and calcium oxalate. Additionally, increasing urine volume allows for regular bladder flushing.
  • Low RSS: Undersaturated urine is urine in which crystals cannot grow. Thus, the urinary environment is unfavorable for the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
